Pages Matam

Pages Matam is a Cameroonian artist residing in the D.C. metropolitan area. He is a Write Bloody author, Callaloo fellow,  2014 National poetry slam champion and winner of Beltway Poetry Quarterly's Best New Book of 2014.  Pages is a proud gummy bear elitist, bowtie enthusiast, professionalhugger and anime fanatic. When he takes stage – as a performer, educator, or activist for immigration and surviving sexual trauma – be prepared to be taken on an experience of cultural, socially conscious storytelling.

Black Movements Dance Theater (BMDT)

BMDT is a contemporary dance group on Georgetown University campus.

World Percussion Ensemble 

Word Percussion Ensemble is the premier percussion group from GU campus. It features percussion from Africa, the Carribeans, and Latin America.

Les Voix Celeste 

La Voix Celeste is a predominantly A Capella vocal group that was formed in the fall of 2014 by Jochebed Osei-Adu and Tayo Omolana. This group is a subgroup of Towson University’s African Diaspora Club. They acknowledge the fact that they share common ancestry while embracing that most of them have grown up and were born in America. The group perform songs from multiple African countries as well as popular American music. They do not limit themselves to any particular genre. They all love what they do and appreciate every moment.
